Frank W. Alderman, MD

Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Alderman's vision for surpassing patient expectations in a welcoming environment sets the stage for that which is MedExpress.

Dr. Alderman holds both a bachelor's degree in pharmacy, and a medical degree from West Virginia University.  He completed his residency at WVU and is board certified in emergency medicine. Dr. Alderman is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Emergency Physicians.

A native of West Virginia and the youngest of six children, Dr. Alderman grew up in the beautiful Greenbrier Valley.  He credits living near The Greenbrier Hotel, a world-famous resort where guest service is paramount, for inspiring his obsession with exceeding patient expectations at MedExpress.

His impressive leadership and unwavering focus on flawless execution are the driving force of the entire management team. Today, he is primarily responsible for the company's business development plan, execution of the Company's strategic plan, and expansion oversight.

Dr. Alderman has a strong sense of commitment to each and every MedExpress employee.

Dr. Alderman is active in the urgent care industry and community.

During recent health reform discussions, Dr. Alderman was active on Capitol Hill, meeting with several Congressional and Senate leaders about the value of urgent care in today's access and affordability debate.  He has established multiple relationships in Washington, DC, and continues to have ongoing discussions and communications with those members.  Dr. Alderman serves on multiple advisory boards and was named one of West Virginia's "Most Influential" for his work with MedExpress to expand health care access and affordability.
