MedExpress Opens Newest Urgent Care Center in Manheim Township

MedExpress Urgent Care, Pennsylvania's patient-centered urgent care provider, opened its newest center today in Manheim Township, PA. With the opening of the new center, MedExpress now operates 24 centers throughout Pennsylvania and more than 50 centers nationwide.

MedExpress Urgent Care is a full-service, walk-in health care center, offering treatment for everyday illness and injury to people of all ages. There is always a physician on duty, supported by a full medical team. MedExpress is dedicated to providing patients the highest level of quality health care in a comfortable environment.

"At MedExpress, we are committed to exceeding the patient experience," said MedExpress CEO Frank Alderman, MD. "We do this by delivering timely, affordable, high-quality urgent care at all of our centers. We are truly excited about becoming a part of the Manheim Township community and look forward to offering them great care."

As part of its mission to keep its communities healthy, MedExpress is offering free flu shots to all patients ages four and above, while supplies last.

The Manheim Township MedExpress, at 1842 Fruitville Pike in Lancaster, will be open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week. MedExpress Urgent Care employs more than 600 people in Pennsylvania and last year treated more than 416,000 people in the state.

In addition to the new Manheim Township location, MedExpress operates centers in Altoona, Belle Vernon, Butler, Bloomfield, Center Township, Greensburg, Johnstown, Mars, Meadville, Monroeville, Moon Township, Muhlenberg Township, Murrysville, North Huntingdon, O'Hara Township, Pleasant Hills, Ross Township, Scott Township, State College, Tarentum, Uniontown, Upper St. Clair and Washington. Several more centers are planned for 2011.
