December 29 2011
MedExpress Urgent Care, West Virginia's patient-centered urgent
care provider, opened its newest center today at 630 Fairmont
Avenue in Fairmont. To celebrate the opening, MedExpress is
offering free flu shots, while supplies last, through January 4 to
all patients who visit the new center.
With the opening of its new Fairmont location, MedExpress
operates 14 centers throughout West Virginia and 74 nationwide.
MedExpress is a full-service, walk-in urgent care center,
offering treatment for everyday illness and injury to people of all
ages. There is always a physician on site, supported by a full
medical team. MedExpress is dedicated to providing patients with
the highest level of quality health care in a warm and welcoming
environment.
"We're proud to be a West Virginia company so we're thrilled to
be expanding in our home state," said MedExpress CEO, Frank
Alderman, MD. "We look forward to bringing high-quality health care
to each and every patient who comes through our doors."
MedExpress Urgent Care's dedication to its patients' well-being
extends beyond the in-center experience. MedExpress strives to
streamline care within its local medical communities, support best
practices and ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
"We recognize that patients may need specialty care and
follow-up," said Alderman. "By coordinating care with other health
care providers, our goal is to provide our patients with
convenience and serve as a portal of entry/front door into the wide
spectrum of health care in the community."
The Fairmont MedExpress will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.,
seven days a week. Several more centers are planned for 2012.
MedExpress also operates centers in Pennsylvania, Colorado and
Florida.
