MedExpress Opens Urgent Care Center in Murrysville

October 28 2010

The Murrysville MedExpress, 4620 William Penn Highway, will be open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week. MedExpress Urgent Care employs more than 400 people in Pennsylvania and last year treated more than 300,000 people in the state.

Since cold and flu season is now underway, MedExpress recently began providing Flu Shots for $20, while supplies last.

"Murrysville is a vibrant community and we are excited about MedExpress becoming a trusted partner and health care provider for the region," said MedExpress CEO Frank Alderman, MD. "At MedExpress, we are committed to the patient experience. We do that by delivering timely, affordable, high-quality urgent care and we are excited to continue bringing that to the people of Pennsylvania."

MedExpress Urgent Care is a full-service, walk-in health care center, offering treatment for everyday illness and injury to all ages. There is always a physician on duty, supported by a full medical team.

In addition to the new location, MedExpress operates centers in Belle Vernon, Butler, Bloomfield, Center Township, Greensburg, Johnstown, Mars, Monroeville, Moon Township, North Huntingdon, O'Hara Township, Pleasant Hills, Ross Township, Scott Township, State College, Tarentum, Uniontown, Upper St. Clair and Washington. Several more centers are planned for 2010 and 2011.
