MedExpress Urgent Care opens milestone center in Mt. Pleasant
December 29 2011
MedExpress Urgent Care, Pennsylvania's patient-centered urgent
care provider, opened its newest center today at 6396 Route 819
South in Mt. Pleasant. To celebrate the opening, MedExpress is
offering free flu shots, while supplies last, through January 4 to
all patients who visit the new center.
With the opening of its new Mt. Pleasant location, MedExpress
operates 40 centers throughout Pennsylvania and 73 nationwide.
MedExpress is a full-service, walk-in urgent care center,
offering treatment for everyday illness and injury to people of all
ages. There is always a physician on site, supported by a full
medical team. MedExpress is dedicated to providing patients with
the highest level of quality health care in a warm and welcoming
environment.
"We're excited to begin serving the Mt. Pleasant community,"
said MedExpress CEO, Frank Alderman, MD. "For ten years our mission
has been to deliver high-quality health care to each and every
patient who comes through our doors. That commitment will never
change."
MedExpress' dedication to its patients' well-being extends
beyond the in-center experience. MedExpress strives to streamline
care within its local medical communities, support best practices
and ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
"We recognize that patients may need specialty care and
follow-up," said Alderman. "By coordinating care with other health
care providers, our goal is to provide our patients with
convenience and serve as a portal of entry/front door into the wide
spectrum of health care in the community."
The Mt. Pleasant MedExpress will be open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven
days a week. Several more centers are planned for 2012.
MedExpress also operates centers in West Virginia, Colorado and
Florida.
