MedExpress Urgent Care, Pennsylvania's patient-centered urgent care provider, will be opening three new centers in Northeastern Pennsylvania in July. With the opening of these three new centers, MedExpress will operate 33 centers throughout Pennsylvania, and more than 60 nationwide. MedExpress Urgent Care is a full-service, walk-in health care center, offering treatment for everyday illness and injury to people of all ages. There is always a physician on duty, supported by a full medical team. Each of the new centers will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week. MedExpress is dedicated to providing patients with the highest level of quality health care in a comfortable environment.

"We strive to ensure that every patient receives high-quality, affordable health care in a timely fashion," said MedExpress CEO Frank Alderman, MD. "This has been our focus since our first center opened 10 years ago, and it's the same approach we take today in all of our centers, both new and established. We are dedicated to the patient experience and that means delivering great care fast."

MedExpress Urgent Care's dedication to its patients' well being extends beyond the in-center experience. Serving as a portal of entry into the greater healthcare system, MedExpress strives to coordinate care within its local medical communities to streamline entry, support best practices and ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

"We recognize that patients may need specialty care and follow-up," said Dr. Alderman. "By coordinating care with other healthcare providers, our goal is to provide our patients with convenience and serve as a portal of entry to the wide spectrum of health care in the community."

In addition to the three new locations, MedExpress operates centers in Altoona, Belle Vernon, Bloomfield, Brentwood, Butler, Center Township, Chambersburg, Greensburg, Hanover,

Hermitage, Johnstown, Lancaster, Manheim Township, Mars, Meadville, Millcreek Township, Monroeville, Moon Township, Muhlenberg Township, Murrysville, North Huntingdon, O'Hara Township, Pleasant Hills, Ross Township, Scott Township, State College, Tarentum, Uniontown, Upper St. Clair and Washington. Several more centers are planned for 2011. MedExpress also operates centers in West Virginia, Colorado and Florida.
