MedExpress Urgent Care announces the opening of two new neighborhood medical centers in Massachusetts. The new locations will open in Springfield at 430 Cooley St. and Westfield at 311 East Main St. on Sept. 30 and Oct. 7, respectively. As welcoming gifts to the community, both centers will offer free flu shots to patients ages four and up.
Free flu shots will be available through Oct. 14 at the Springfield center and Oct. 21 at the Westfield center.
MedExpress is committed to providing high-quality, convenient and affordable medical treatment to the Springfield and Westfield communities, as well as Chicopee where MedExpress offers an additional center. The new centers are open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and accept most major insurances. MedExpress centers provide walk-in treatment for everyday illness and injury, including more advanced offerings such as X-rays, IVs, labs, minor surgery, stitches and treatment for broken bones, sprains and strains.
Patients can visit MedExpress for basic wellness and prevention services such as sports physicals, immunizations and tobacco cessation counseling programs. Local employers can also utilize MedExpress for services such as workers’ compensation, employee injury care and pre-employment screenings and physicals.

The Springfield and Westfield centers offer a full medical team including physicians, nurses and radiologic technologists. MedExpress helps patients and employers coordinate follow-up care with primary care physicians, specialists and area hospitals when necessary to ensure patients always receive the most appropriate treatment.
