MedExpress announces the opening of its second Massachusetts neighborhood medical center on July 22 at 296 Main St. in Haverhill, in Walgreens Plaza. The new center offers walk-in treatment for everyday illness and injury, basic wellness services and employer health services for local patients and employers. As a welcoming gift to the community, the center is offering free sports physicals to patients ages 5 and up, July 22 – Aug. 5.
The Haverhill MedExpress center will provide high-quality, convenient and affordable health care in a warm and welcoming environment for patients.
The new center features nine patient exam rooms and one procedure room for walk-in, urgent care treatment for patients of all ages. Patients can receive X-rays, IVs, labs, minor surgery and stitches on site, as well as treatment for broken bones, sprains and strains. Basic wellness services include sports physicals, routine physicals, immunizations and tobacco cessation programs, while employer health offerings include workers’ compensation, employee injury care, drug screenings and physicals.

The Haverhill center offers a full medical team including physicians, nurses and radiologic technologists. The center is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., no appointment necessary, with most patients in and out in under an hour. MedExpress helps patients and employers coordinate follow-up care with primary care physicians, specialists and area hospitals when necessary to ensure patients always receive the most appropriate treatment.
