MedExpress Urgent Care, a neighborhood health care provider, will open a new neighborhood medical center in Ewing Wednesday, July 18, at 1680 N. Olden Ave.
The Ewing center will offer free sports physicals to patients ages five and up July 18-31, 2018, to mark the opening.
The Ewing center will be the 24th MedExpress location in New Jersey, including nearby centers in Hamilton Square, Willingboro, Cinnaminson, East Brunswick and Cherry Hill. MedExpress plans to open a new center in Wall and Rockaway this fall.

The center in Ewing will care for people of all ages, providing urgent care, employer health services, and basic wellness and prevention services. Walk-in treatment is available for everyday illness and injury – including treatment for common summertime injuries such as cuts, scrapes, rashes, bites, stings and burns – as well as more advanced services including X-rays, IVs, labs, minor surgery, stitches and treatment for broken bones, sprains and strains. Local employers can use MedExpress for employer health services that include workers’ compensation, injury care, pre- and ongoing employment screenings, physicals and regulatory exams. Basic wellness and prevention services available include sports physicals, routine physicals and immunizations to help Ewing residents maintain good health and well-being.
The Ewing center will have multiple exam rooms, a procedure room and an X-ray suite. The center will be open every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with no appointment necessary. MedExpress accepts all major insurance plans and offers affordable pricing for people without insurance. The center will be staffed by a full medical team that includes medical providers, nurses, radiologic technologists and customer service representatives.
