The 2017-2018 flu season was one of the most severe in recent memory – the first to be classified as high-severity across all age groups according to the CDC. To help our communities this season, we’re tracking flu activity and offering our best cold, flu, and seasonal illness prevention tips.

While flu activity continues to decrease, the CDC says activity remains elevated in the U.S. As of April 6, widespread influenza-like illness activity has been reported in 20 states, according to the CDC. Twenty-five states, including 10 MedExpress states, have reported regional influenza-like illness activity, and five states have reported local influenza-like activity.
