How We’ve Adapted Our Services

Safety is Top of Mind: What to Expect When You Visit MedExpress

For your protection and the protection of our team members, face masks are required when inside a MedExpress center and when interacting with our team members at an outdoor testing site. If you do not have a face mask, we can provide you with one.

When visiting a MedExpress location, you may also find the following safety protocols:

  • Contactless Registration – For added safety and peace of mind, many centers allow you to now register for your visit by phone from your vehicle. If this safety feature is available, just follow the phone prompts on the parking lot signage when you arrive, and our front office team will guide you on next steps. If you’re experiencing a medical emergency or are unable to call from a personal vehicle, please enter the building.
  • Socially Distanced Reception Areas – Our reception areas have been reconfigured to promote social distancing, including Plexiglass at our check-in windows, floor markers and optimized seating arrangements.
  • Enhanced Cleaning Procedures and Employee Health Checks – We have enhanced our cleaning practices and use medical-grade disinfectant approved by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
  • Drive-up COVID-19 Testing – Some centers are able to provide drive-up COVID-19 testing, denoted on our testing locations page, allowing you to be screened and tested for COVID-19 without ever leaving your vehicle.

Services for Employers and Employees during COVID-19 Pandemic

For the health and safety of your employees and our team members, MedExpress has temporarily discontinued select employer health services (EHS). Please visit our COVID-19 FAQ page for the most up-to-date information, including details about return-to-work COVID-19 testing.
