Indiana Regional Medical Center (IRMC) and MedExpress, a neighborhood health care provider, are collaborating to coordinate care between MedExpress' neighborhood medical center in Indiana County and IRMC's hospital, specialty and outpatient services.
The jointly owned center, located at 2128 Oakland Ave., will enable MedExpress patients to easily seek more advanced or specialty health care services at IRMC, if needed, while always honoring patient choice. In turn, MedExpress’ neighborhood medical center can serve as an extension of the services available at IRMC by offering a broad scope of walk-in urgent care, virtual visits, as well as employer health services and basic wellness and prevention services. MedExpress centers are open every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. to care for everyday illness and injury, as well as provide more advanced services including X-rays, labs, minor surgery, stitches and treatment for broken bones sprains or strains.

The UrgiCare at IRMC in Indiana will close and patients will be able to locally access care at MedExpress. The UrgiCare at IRMC at Chestnut Ridge will remain open to serve the Blairsville community.
