MedExpress Urgent Care, a neighborhood health care provider, will open a new neighborhood medical center in Longmont Wednesday, Dec. 5, at 601 S. Main St.
The Longmont center will mark the opening by offering free flu shots to patients ages four and up Dec. 5-11.
The Longmont center will be the third MedExpress location in Colorado, joining centers in Glendale and Fort Collins.

The center will care for people of all ages, providing urgent care, employer health services and basic wellness and prevention services. Walk-in treatment is available for everyday illness and injury – including treatment for fall and winter ailments such as colds, flu and upper respiratory infections – as well as more advanced services including X-rays, IVs, labs, minor surgery, stitches and treatment for broken bones, sprains and strains. Local employers can use MedExpress for employer health services that include workers’ compensation, injury care, pre- and ongoing employment screenings, physicals and regulatory exams. Basic wellness and prevention services include sports physicals, routine physicals and immunizations to help Longmont residents maintain good health.
The Longmont center will have multiple exam rooms, a procedure room and an X-ray suite. The center will be open every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with no appointment necessary. MedExpress accepts all major insurance plans and offers affordable pricing for people without insurance. The center will be staffed by a full medical team that includes medical providers, radiologic technologists, nurses and customer service representatives.
