Text

Our neighborhood medical centers are open from 8 to 8 every day for urgent care, including imaging services. Our medical team, including full-time radiologic technologists, use X-rays to diagnose broken bones, sprains and fractures. They can also diagnose a wide array of illnesses and injuries, including assessing dislocations, chest X-rays for stubborn coughs and using imaging to diagnose kidney stones.

Radiologic Technologists On Site

If that persistent cough can’t wait or you think you might have a broken bone or kidney stone, MedExpress centers are open from 8 to 8 every day, with radiologic technologists (RTs) on site all day to perform X-rays.

With X-rays on site, MedExpress can diagnose a wide array of illnesses and injuries and help identify the best treatment plan right away. They can use our digital X-rays to scan several parts of the body, including foreign bodies in soft tissues, bones, joints and more. Then, our radiologic technologists will consult with our providers to put together the best possible care plan.

Sprain, Strain or Broken Bone?

Whenever you have an accident, MedExpress is ready to help get you on the road to recovery. By using our digital X-rays, we can better determine the type of injury that you have as well as its severity. Then, our providers can recommend a plan of care and any next steps, which may include a referral to the emergency room or a specialist for the next step in care.

Before visiting, you can ease discomfort by taking pain relievers. Depending on the severity of your injury, you may use over the counter pain relievers (acetaminophen, aspirin, ibuprofen).

If you think you’ve broken a bone or your injury doesn’t seem to be healing, it’s important that you seek care immediately.

X-ray Overreads

Every X-ray taken at MedExpress is sent to a board-certified radiologist to confirm the findings. Called an “overread,” this process is an extra step we take to ensure you receive the highest quality care and the most accurate results.
